you old man winter!!! >.<** Reply #15 – February 22, 2006, 08:01:30 AM
Here's an outfit to keep me toasty warm while working in the cold. One pair of long john pants over tall socks with a long john shirt tucked into the pants. Then I'll put another pair of socks on that will come over the long john pants. Add a t-shirt. Then Jeans over the long john pants and a sweat shirt. Then an old heavy coat. Then I wear rubber surgical gloves and a skull cap. That's for those extremely cold days. ;)I may end up looking like the Michelin man but it works.
:rollin: :rollin: [/IMG] Quote Selected

you old man winter!!! >.<** Reply #17 – February 22, 2006, 01:54:12 PM I have a hard time getting motivated to work on my car when it's cold outside unless it's something I HAVE to do. Plus since my thunderbird is always put away for the winter, I don't want to drag it out to work on something.I remember one time a few years ago when I had to replace a line on the steering rack on my old '90 Mustang. It was about 20 degrees outside. By the time I was done I couldn't feel my hands or my feet. Not fun. Quote Selected
