MSD 6AL, 8.5mm Superconductor Wires, and Blaster TFI coil...

Hey guys, we just started stocking a bunch of MSD stuff so I figured I would buy some up quick.  My question is, does anybody have an MSD 6AL mounted under the hood??? If so, where did you mount it and what did you have to move if anything....just lookin for some ideas here.

Thanks,
Don

i hear some people complain about them heating up, so the mount them to where the factory air box was, or somewhere away from exhasust heat on the fender. i have the blaster, superconductor wires, and cap/rotor. im look'n to get one of the 6al boxes soon.

Mine is on the back passenger fire wall, Granted if you still use your heater this is not an option. My coil is on the passenger fender.  As far as the wire I Will never use the FMS wires again a year after haveing they the insulation started to crack, I now use Taylor 8.5 steel braided cables.

hers a pic

Well, yeah my heater is still quite necessary...lol.  Sweet looking engine bay by the way!  I probably will end up getting a cold air intake and mounting it near the old air box location.

Nate, stop by my work one day and I'll give ya 10% off of a 6AL box...I'm only in Berlin on RT. 30 right next to Berlin-Cross Keys Rd.

Thank you ery much, needs some very needed wire removal.  I'm not much for working in the cold so it will wait til summer. What kinda prices do you have on the 6AL box with shipping to SC. I currently have the 6A and would like to have the built in limiter.
