For Sale OR trade....87 XR7 January 14, 2006, 11:13:56 AM 1987 XR7 Cougar. 5.0 Carbed ,5 speed trans. 5 lug LSC wheels with great tires! Here is what I have done............. Newly rebuilt 89 GT Mustang engine,Mustang shorty headers, H pipe with cats and Mustang dual exhaust.1985 Stock 4 bbl intake with 600 vac holley, also rebuilt. This engine has 4000 miles on it, that's all! 5 Speed trans,new clutch,pp t/o bearing. 5 lug conversion, with SVO calipers up front with adj. prop valve. Linclon LSC 16" BBS wheels with great tires. New front springs,rear cargo springs, and rear shocks and quads. Car runs very strong, sounds racey with the MAC cat back from the Mustang. Lots of New parts on this car too many to list. I have only one issue with the car.....Fuel economy is not great....14 to 17 MPG. I have extra parts to go with the car,rust free doors, a Turbo Coupe hood, and 3.27 7.5 gears. Selling to get a smaller 4 cylinder commuter to drive to and from work. May take 90 to 94 Escort 5 speed for trade, OR sell out for $1700.00.
