T-Bird Model Cars...

Hey, I just wanted to see if anyone knew where I might be able to find a Revell brand model of the '87-'88 T-Bird, I'm not looking for a drag car model or anything silly...a plain jane, sport, or T/C model would work.

Thanks,
Don

I picked mine up at Wal-Mart.  It was the last one and I haven't seen them stocked since then.  I've also seen a few on e-bay, but what the hell isn't/hasn't been on there :grinno:.  BTW it was a TC model.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Yeah, maybe I'll just keep looking around from time to time.  I saw plenty of MN-12's yesterday...blah.  I'm tryin to make a replica of what my car looks like...lol.  So I need to buy a 'Stang also, that way I can use the 10-hole rims...lmao.  Yeah, I have too much idle time.

Don,

No mass produced kit out there that I have ever seen has the 15" 10-hole wheels in it. Every Mustang kit that I have seen will be of the GT model and it will have the Turbines in it.

Years ago I bought a resin body of an '85-'86 TC. You would combine this body with the Monogram kit to make and earlier style TC, it also came with the proper 15" 10-hole wheels.
It's still in the box because I don't trust myself to screw it up putting it together. I figure I'll have some master modeler do it for me so it's done right.

If anyone out there knows of a regular mass-produced kit that was made with the 15" 10-hole wheels in it, please let me know.
