Doncha hate it when...

...you have money, and you want to spend it, but you either can't or don't think you should just yet?

I'm lookin at buying a couple things for the bird...besides sorting out the clutch/tranny problems I'm having (which I fear will end up forcing me to put in a different flywheel and buy a whole new clutch kit, besides getting the transmission fluid leak fixed), it needs a new/bigger radiator, I want to put the battery in the trunk (using most of the relocation kit I used to have in my mustang), and I'm looking at building a new intake for it in front of the turbo.

BUT-

Radiator- well, I don't see much sense in buying that now and having it sit around the house until march.

Battery kit- I want to get a terminal block kit from M.A.D. Enterprises, but you have to call them to order and I keep forgetting...

Intake- I found a place that has the 3.5" mandrel bent elbows that I wanna use (http://www.racepartsolutions.com), but before I buy them I wanna find out what radius the bends are...unfortunately these guys won't answer their e-mail or return messages you leave on the phone  and the time I tried to call them during what should have been normal business hours the phone was busy.

This sucks, I have an itch that only buying some parts will cure!

Anytime I get in the chance to be in that position, usually something breaks and I'm forced to spend it. Can't usually do the things I want to do but am forced to do those I have to do.:bs:

Well for once I actually have some extra money, but my transmission troubles have me wondering how much that's gonna cost.

Right now Im paying for my "new" 86 Cougar, but I owe the Mechanic $115 and I need to have them put in my heater core so I can finish up this  homework. Im getting the repairs done first, then mods come later. High School and money dont go to well right now.

Well , this sucks. Called a transmission shop today just to see what it might cost to fix my transmission (replace the bushing in the tailshaft or whatever it is that's causing it to leak). He told me $90 labor plus parts. ouch! Might as well just buy another transmission for $100, a guy just up the road offered me one for that much. Hmmm...
