1992 cougar 5.0L stalls

iv just baught a 1992 cougar with the 5.0L h.o.  it stalls on me when ever i touch the gas petal not when i put it in reverse or drive or nething as long as i dont touch the petal it moves at idle but as soon as i touch the petal when its in drive it stalls even in nutrual and park if i rev the engine n take my foot off it stalls. i have a remote starter on it n when i start it from the remote the first time it wont start but the second time it starts n idle's i dont know if that would have nething to do with it. duz neone know how to fix this???

I'm guessing the TPS has gone bad. This is strictly a guess though...

I think Eric had this problem on his red T-Bird he just got rid of. I think he said it was the torque convertor.
Temporarily Foxless? Ride the Bull...

got it moving now by throwin it into neutral n not letting it stall but i noticed while i was going down the street there was a little lag when i was pushin down on the pedal if that helps any? maybe its the injectors or the fuel pump or filter???
