building a car for my youngest son,, i would like to have a trip minder to mod in and install.

That's just a normal clock.  He's looking for a Tripminder, like this...

Those have gotten hard to find around here.  My brother let his go when he sold his car..... dummy, he is.  Ill look, but I think mine are all gone.

what vehicle do these come out of?

83-85ish Cougars and Thunderbirds, Crown Vics, and Grand Marquis, and the Panther versions have different mounting brackets and require Fox brackets swapped onto them.
