another non-fox question...

Today my father was driving the explorer, and i was checking the Temp gauge. It raises to the Mid position. But it started to climb a little more when we were at a stop, and releasing some when we were running. Literally, the gauge was moving at a certain range, not too much and not too low, but was....moving. Sorry, but at the other cars that i have driven (e.g the F-150) the gauge raises at the mid and never, never, never moves until the car is off. Maybe because here was raining a little bit, but i dont know. I only want to know if this is normal. Thanks...

The only thing that I can think of is the cooling fan.  It would make sense that temp would increase at a stop since there is no air running through the radiator.  maybe check to see if the fan's working properly.  It could also just be a touchy gauge and, after all, you do live in mexico where it's not exactly cold.
