From fuel injection to a carb

Hey everyone im putting a new engine into my thunderbird and its going to have a carb. now i know i have to put a different fuel pump in it for lower fuel pressure but what do i do for the kickdown cable on the aod trans?

What year? I may be able to help with the fuel.
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]:ford:87 Turbo Coupe through the floor sub frame connectors, 5.8 swap Ford racing heads Harland sharp 1.6 rockers BBK shorty swap headers 2 1/2 BBk X pipe magnaflow ler's. Megasquirt 2 with 36lbs injectors on hurricane intake with 4150 throttle body.Tremec TKO 600 Quicktime blowsheild spec stage 3 clutch. 3.73 gears and still not done

Lokar TV cable kit or you need a TV rod.  You will have to modify the TV rod by making it longer and bending it.
