I was going to buy them and d them with the other spare body panels. If something gets damaged I want to have spare parts at my disposal, because they are hard to find ;).

I always worry about what would happen if I were to get hit and the quarter panels were mangled.  Here in the rust belt it would be almost impossible to find something rust free enough to get donor panels off of.  Oh well its just the chance you take...and its just going to get worse as time goes on.  I don't see anyone ever making new replacement quarters, doors, etc. for these cars (I hope I'm wrong).

I have collector insurance on my Thunderbird. Supposedly they are supposed to find replacement body parts in case of an accident. I'm just trying to save them time (and give myself some piece of mind) by ding body parts.
