my new garage

Been a while since I have been on the site and saw the post about the new garage.  I have been working on mine for about a year and now I'm done enough.
Downstairs 36'x72'
Upstairs 36'x48'
Upstairs includes gest bedroom, kitchen, bath, and gameroom and home theater.
downstairs is split in two with half being garage and storage and half workshop with 16' high ceiling and lift.
I waited a long time for a shop like this and by doing it myself I saved a ton of money.
My Cad-T-Bird turned over for the first time in a year and I'm getting excited about working on it again.
The new board is great.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Divorce in the form of a building.

Thanks for the nice replys, I'm pretty proud of my work.

Here's a picture of my project, currently pulling a lot of the wires out of it, no more ABS or computer suspension.

I modeled it after this Caddy powered Mustang, here's a link of a 10 secound pass.  Note the 2000 stall converter and quick torque.

I don't expect to get quite this fast but trying to do the best I can with a car thats 500 plus more pounds.  The T-bird is a  lot better looking car.

That garage is bigger than our house. On top of that, you'll probably get more feedback on your swap plans just 'cause you're doing a V8 swap, even if it isn't a Ford engine. :D I *SHOULD* be insanely jealous.. but I'm not. (OK, I'm jealous of the garage space.. I don't even have a carport anymore.. and I don't even have a paved driveway to work on) Hey, if you have it, use it. The garage, the engine, the game room, the theater, whatever. It's all lookin' good. I'd live in a place like that.

::Bustin the O-Face!:: "Oh, Oh, oh. You know what Im talkin bout?!"

Ive got a nice sized lot with the new house we are moving into and I was going to be building a 2-story 2 and a half with a game and theater room upstairs. But, this is just amazing!

P.S. Sorry for eye humping your garage!  :D
