They have made some improvements to the site since the last time I used it. It's no carfax, but it has plenty of information on your VIN and it's free. This is for Ohio residents only (or cars from Ohio, it will show data from when they were here).https://ext.dps.state.oh.us/BMVOnlineServices.Public/TitleSearch.aspxIt's fun to see the history. I just bought a Futura, and I wondered if the mileage was correct (as the owner claimed). I can see all the previous titles back to 86 (it's a 79, so it must have came from somewhere else). I see it sat from 1988-1997 without the mileage on the title changing. Seeing it creep up a little with each owner change, I can cay with a good certainty that the mileage is accurate. Neat stuff!
