I had the axle upside down and laying forward on the ground, so that is probably why it leaked. Thanks!

Pinion seal needs to be replaced. But special procedures are required not to mess up the crush sleeve!!

No 7.5 came with 3.55 final drive ratio as far as i know!

every 4 banger stang I've seen was 3.73 locker.

7.5 ratio rear only has 3,45 gears. 8.8 has 3;55. has to do with tooth count on the rear.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

should have specified...

the closest 3,55 ratio for a 7.5 is 3.45...

has almost  every other 8.8 ratio.

I think local parts stores carry, or can bring in, the quad shocks. 4-5 years ago I picked up some from Autozone. I think they were Monroes or Gabriels.

Edit:

Autozone had the Gabriels listed at $24.99 w/3 month warranty, O'reilly auto parts had the Monroes for $27.99 w/lifetime warranty. I bought the Monroes. They also come with shock boots.
