Anniversary Gift from the Wife

So next month is my 10 yr wedding anniversary. As a gift I bought my wife a Anniversary ring she had been looking at. She wanted me to get something as well but with my work, and the fact I don't wear rings period, I declined to get one. She's OK with that. She wanted to get me something but what......... I'm thinking parts for me beloved Bird, but she wasn't too keen on that idea :(  So a couple days ago I get a fax in the office. It was a certificate for a "Rusty Wallace Racing Experience" at the Chicagoland Speedway for the "Qualifier laps" and that I needed to go online and reserve my date and time slot. So when I checked it out and did what I needed, I'll be doing this on June 30th at noon. Whoa..... was all I could say.

That looks like it will be a blast, maybe even better than car parts.

I raced a Nascar Late Model Stock car on a local short track for about 10 years. It was the most fun I ever had with all my clothes on!  :)  Enjoy! You'll have a blast!

I'm quite sure it will be a BLAST :D    The parts would've been alright BUT........ still no comparison.

When I was 14, my dad, brother-in-law, and myself used to run a class just above street stock/hobby stock.  I got ratted out by a competitor while I was out hot-lapping it and getting it ready for time trials cause he spotted my brother-in-law coming out of the can. Anyway, I would do that and my brother-in-law would run the actual races.
