why won't it idle now im stumped

I have swapped a 5.0 into my 87 tc the entire wiring harness for the car was changed as well. i got the car running the other day but it wont idle after cold start

why won't it idle now im stumped

Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

Run codes. There's really only a couple of things that effect idle. Your tps, the iac, and possible timing. Also if your idle screw is setup wrong, the computer pulls timing to try to make it idle lower.

Basically, run codes, see what pops up. Then chec vacuum lines and fix any bad ones. Then try to do a basic idle reset unplugging the iac and test to see if it is working properly.
