TC rear disc question

I put in my TC rear with disc brakes. I used my original PV and lines to the rear just to get it functional.

The braking was very poor. I bought a used TC PValve and swapped it in and bled the system well.

Braking is still not confidence inspiring. It stops better with the new TC PV, but the pedal still feels very soft. It will almost lock up the fronts and stops fairly well. Just wondering if this is mostly normal for this swap the stock 88 MC.

Question is.... bleeding the rear brakes, the pedal moves very little. About 1-1.5 inches. Very little fluid comes from the rear, compared to the front. I would think the pedal should push to the floor, just like the fronts? Im wondering if Im getting all the air out from the rear lines?

Any advice??

I think you need a master with a bigger bore...not sure of numbers but a '94 Cobra seems to be a good choice.
I think you may also need to gut the tc p/v or get an adjustable one...there's an article on the TC mod somewhere around here...

Had the same problem......front would lock up and rears did nothing.

I plan on installing a 1993 Cobra MC, gutting the PV (which I swapped in a TC one and it did not help) and installing an adjustable PV inline after the gutted TC one.

Did your pedal only move that small amount when you guys did yours???

Say I upgrade to the 93 Cobra MC and 3-2 port conversion. Where is the easiest place to put the adj PV ???

Any pics of your guys setups or how you did it??
