Lift here fool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! July 30, 2011, 11:03:35 AM Ive had my 2Oth into a few shops for just basic work like tires, alignment ect and every darn one of them have come so close to fugging up the front of my car just to the rear of the front tires. They keep crushing the floor in or bending over the vertical seem typically used by those cheapo scissor jacks.Anyway, I cut up a piece of mining belt and added these to my frame up front, hopefully it is used by the shops. Its good for me as well because Ive always wanted to do this to my car and found a little time to do this easy mod. Quote Selected

Lift here fool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reply #5 – July 31, 2011, 12:55:59 PM I felt like doing that but after fixing the problem, I felt much better. Granted my rocker seem is all jacked up , and not really looking good right now, I feel much better knowing its the first thing they will see. However,,Is that actually a valid lift point per the shop manual? I have to look it up but I had one mechanic say its not because its too far under the car. Made no sense to me. Quote Selected
