Junkyard Lunch hour take

Found a four eye with a complete console, and snagged a fan off a Sable.

Its too hot to do this during Lunch in Texas, whew.

Cant believe they had one fox bird, and it had a blue console in it with a pad in good shape, and a latch that works great. The switch pad is beat up, but I assume the one from my consolette will swap over right? The tabs in front were broke off, but everything else was in pretty good shape.

Fox birds are pretty rare down here, I am usually amazed when I see how often you guys up north find them.

The switch panel from a consolette is different, won't work. If that ones not bent up, it's an easy fix to make it look new. I did mine from scratch as well. Nice score. That's like the fan I have on the Sport.

Well, rats.

The panel is pretty bent up, and this one was only for power drivers seat, mine has power on both drivers and passenger side.

Even though its the early console, its still a good find I think. Im sure I can find a dual power seat panel somewhere in decent condition, maybe even here.

You'll find one. Just ask around and be patient. Mine was in moderate shape. I had to do a little reshaping and filling, but it turned out great.
