I've heard reports that it fades and peels within a year, at least with the chrome variety.I'd suspect the black would hold up longer, and even more if it's painted.Just FYI. Quote Selected

Now its primered, so I will probably put it on before topcoat. I just layed it in there to take pics. If you look close in the second picture, you can see the rest off the roll hanging off the ladder. Quote Selected
