Global West and Griggs make the LCA's but both are kinda pricey though.  Global West has the uppers in single or double adjustable which are basically the GM-A Body uppers and they have a different set of spacers for the T-Birds.

I think once you put all four manufacturers' control arms next to one another you will see the cost differences.  I have the Grigss LCA's on my Bird and they are basically an all out road race piece.  They will handle street duty but Bruce focuses on road racing.  The Bird also has the Global West UCA's on it and are much better pieces than the Metco's I used to have on it.  I also have the Maximum Motorsports LCA's on my Coupe and they are more more of a double duty unit and are a bit heaver than the Griggs units.  MM designed the ones I have for track and street.  I don't have any experience with the CHE's but most everyone around here seems to like them.  From what I can tell from their website they are a great replacement for the lack luster stock stock gear but I don't think I would put them at the same level as MM, Griggs, or GW.  Granted that is just my opinion and purely based on what I saw on their website which appears to me that the majority of the arms will still induce some binding but definitely better than stock.  Again, just my opinion.

The winter storm could have their lines down or they may just not have come into work due to the storm.  Have you tried emailing them?  I checked all of their product lines and the only type of control arms that are not experiencing a delay are the ones that do not have a poly bushing end.  My guess is some kind of availabilty issue due to shipping or possibly a shortage with the supplier.  Just throwing some ideas out there as they are a very reputable company from what I have read.  If the CHE's will fit the bill for your car then patience will pay off and save you a chunk of money.

it seems that the supplier of the bushings that CHE uses, has had a death in their family and wont be producing any more product to ship until "maybe" the end of February. Basically, CHE is not able to produce anymore arms till they get some bushings....

Griggs never did answer the phone... going to try to contact MM on Monday....

I have CHE and they have been great for the Sport. If you have to wait til the end of the month,no big deal. It's just a few weeks, and there's always something else to work on til then.

Okay, I may have a solution for you.  Go here:

http://www.chicane23.com

My buddy John ownes the business and he is a Griggs and Maximum dealer.  Tell him I sent you and he will get in touch with Griggs and MM and see what he can do for your application.  I am not 100% sure Griggs builds a LCA with the spring perch but John will know or will find out.  He should be cheaper than buying direct from either manufacturer and since it will be shipped outside of the great state of Texas (his shop is in the Dallas area) there will be no tax.  John is usually right on top of things but he does have a family and another job so it can get hectic for him at times so be patient.

I've got CHE arms on my Sport, and while I didn't buy them new, they are great, definitely worlds better than stock. If you don't plan to flog the car on a track, I reckon you'll be more than happy with them.

Sucks that their bushing supplier has had problems. They're a fine product.
