Need a fast fix to get this Bird up and running

Well I pulled my rebuilt block out of my shed to rebuild my motor on my latest $100 Tbird purchase. Well I'm prepping the block by moving all the needed parts form the one block to the other, so That I can have it installed and running by tomorrow. I'm instaling the clutch and as Im turning the crank the put in the bolts, the crank locks after 3/4 turn. Well I taped off the top of the block with duct tape and when I pulled it back I was in F'ing shock!! The #1 and #4 piston had rust at about 1/4 of the top of cylinder wall!!

Is there a possible fast fix or do I have to rebuild this mofookie!!!

Is there something I can put in the cylinder to remove the rust? Can I just hone the top a little? Is there an abrasive pad/chenical that can fix this mess?:mad:

You can try starting with a Scotch Brite pad and some Marvel Mystery oil, but I'll be honest #1 don't look too awful bad but #4 looks scary

Good luck

You can try what ever you want but that much rust will pit the cylinders.

pull the pistons and hone it, then check clearance between the cylinder and piston, no magical fix to do it the right way.

X3...only one way to do it right, but about 375 ways to cause you to have a bad engine very shortly. Sucks, but somehow partially disassembled engines draw moisture like nothin' else..
