Hood latch cable replacement.

Is it relatively easy to replace and reroute it without taking the fender off?

Just remove the tire and inner splash gaurd and you'll have full access.

I thought that was part of the body/fenderwell...nonremovable...

Nope. You'll see some screws and some plastic push pins, the pins you can pull out with some pliers or vice grips.
