When I moved a few months ago, I never bothered to get any cable or dish setup. I have nothing right now. Well, I have a digital antenna that gets 4 channels, heh.

I have my big TV hooked up to a PC. If I wanna watch a specific show, I can find it on the internet usually.

I'm still showing all Fox channels...

FX
Fox Movies
Fox News (unfortunately)
Fuel

The local Fox station is still coming through the Dish Network lineup in SD (and still receiving the same in HD over the air).
But no Fox Sports Ohio.

Here's your answer to the issue anyhow:

Looks like the regional Fox Sports Net channels are the only ones affected...

I have HDNet on another channel (362).

I see a bunch of movies for the lineup on FX now.
What, you don't like Driving Miss Daisy or something? Sheesh. :hick:

I cant wait to drop cable tv, just have to wait out stupid contract (June 2010 :( ).  I'm just going to keep my fast internet connection, watch OTA HD TV for free and use internet based services like: Netflix, Playon, and Hulu.. That should bring my bill down from $160/m to $60/m too..

i used dish network from 96 or so till 2006 and sorely miss it. much better service and customer support than those other satallite companies we tried to use afterwards.
my brother bought it at some convention we went to way back then.
cheap, plenty of free channel weekends and when the dish got set properly good reception in py weather.
now i just watch stuff online like the rest of the world when i do feel like watching something.

that doesn't work for SOA.. and i'm paying for the  channels, so i should be getting them.. instead i'm paying for a bunch of BS i don't watch now.. as for clarity.. you don't really have to set it up perfectly to get good reception.. mine is just there and i get good reception during nasty thunderstorms

Fox News (unfortunately)
...

i was unpopular when I voiced the real issues for years and as predicted, the rest of the country is coming around to my way of thinking.
Thats why Fox has the majority of the lineup at the whitehouse press corp  ,,, front row that is and due to "viewer popularity"

I have dish now and the funny thing is i get junk mail in my bill.

on piece of junk mail says "if your paying more than 29.00 a month, your spending too much.  Yep, and my bill is 59.00.
I called them about this logic and they said i need all new equipment and a contract.

emailed them a corbon copy of my initial agreement which specifically stated
"Free upgrades as long as you remain a customer, non transferable and can vary state to state"
the states listed did not include mine.

I keep asking for my free upgrade but apparently Dish does not warranty that contract anymore.
My service use to be "PRIMESTAR" back in 97 and Dish purchased them.  Now,no one at dish knowsh who primestar is nor do they accept thier own warranty paperwork, they keep saying "we dont have carbon copy paperwork, and yet I have thier carbon copy stating my simple contract.

I still have to pay for networks,, but i still have fox in my zip.
