Running out of time!!! Re-darn-diculous Reply #5 – July 02, 2010, 03:23:51 PM Hopefully have some better information here.As you all know, JC Whitney sells universal weatherstripping (usually SofSeal brand, pretty good stuff). I've got a lot of it on the convertible since it's all custom.I used a Ranger window run (with vent windows) in the convertible. Worked VERY well. At the time I don't recall there being a non-vent window run available but now there is.QB810357 - 1983-94 Ranger - kit, without vent windows - $34.99 USQB810358 - 1983-94 Ranger - pair, WITH vent windows - $34.99 USI am not guaranteeing that they'll be a perfect fit for a stock application. All I know is that the vent window Ranger run fit my car beautifully.Actual measurements of a 1983-86 Cougar/T-Bird window run:Bottom flat part - 3/4"One side - 11/16"Other side - 15/16"Inside gap - 3/16" to 7/32"I can't say for sure if one side needs to be longer than the other.
