porting December 24, 2009, 10:51:56 AM well i got a garage finally... this winter after i work on my gf's lightning im going to port my intake and heads. i just wanna give it a shot and see what i get out of it, i'll probably end up getting aftermarket heads later on. anybody have any tech tips, advise, or a good walk through with pictures? it will be e7 heads and a gt40 lower. porting Reply #1 – December 24, 2009, 01:18:15 PM You might want to get an exta set to port on. If you haven't done this before, it is very easy to really mess them up. Might want to have an set on hand to fall back on. E7's are easy to find at cheap prices. Quote Selected

I didn't have the patience to wait for the flowbench portion of the project to get finished. For just porting I've seen people bolt the heads up to an engine stand with good results.
