I've heard that they work,but you need a weird offset wheel for them.The 5 lug swap isn't hard,and parts are plentiful.I wouldn't want the spacers myself,but that decision is all yours.For the cost of those spacers,you could probably find the parts at the yards to do the 5 lug conversion the right way.

also the 5x4.25 shares the same bolt patern with the mn12's the taurus line and the windstar vans. so its one of those bolt paterns if you like stock wheeles then thats good. just not a huge aftermarket for that odd size.

I'm sure this answer is on here somewhere but what is the bolt pattern for the car?  4X???mm. The spacers are prob not the way to go either way it's just nice to hear some feedback thanks guys.
