New Toy!

Stopped into the local puppies shop to check on the tool section, Was met by a very enthusiastic younger salesman that wanted to get me a "killer deal" on anything i was looking for.

So i did my usual inquire to Torque Wrenches (Been checking for months).
And he took me over to the same torque wrench i've been being shown for months. :rollin:

I always pass on this one because it's a "Snap-On" and the price tag always says "129.00".
However today i passed and the guy was like, Isnt it what you needed? whats wrong? so i'm like its just a bit out of my price range *chuckling*.
He says aww man we can fix that, Whats your price range?
I say like $40-50.
He's says Pfft no prob i'm sure i can get you that if you pay tax.
I say, You do it i'll buy it~So he walks off looking around for a manager.

The manager IMO i've already tried to go lower on the TR before, And he wouldnt budge pass 90.00 "I'd Be losing money, Cant Do it".

Managers no where around, Kid just says "aww heck with it" and he rips the 129.00 tag off, Grabs a blank tag and writes $50.00, then slaps it on and tells me "Anyone asks, you found it like this" and rings me up.

So i finally got a (Hopefully) Reliable and ed expensive Torque Wrench!
It's a Snap-On QC2R100 3/8 20-100 FT LB

Hopefully i wont end up needing a 1/4 or anything past 100 ft lb though. (kinda worried about this)

Anyone else get any new toys?
We should have a new toy thread. :hick:
