Sagging rear September 27, 2009, 08:05:46 PM My Birds had this problem for a while and I'm not sure if I should just leave it alone or try to level it out. I'm sure alot of you know it's an 88 base with the 5.0. I had originally changed the coils to the Ford Motor Sport M5300 B handeling kit, which is for the fox Mustangs. They really had it sitting on the ground and made it ride extreemly harsh. I was able to find a new kit FMS M5300 E, which is for the fox Birds. The ride quality instantly came back and it still handels great and it now sits about an inch and a half to two inches lower than stock which is good. My problem is the rear really sits low and I drag quite a bit now. Is there a stock Mustang coil I can put in the rear to try and level it off? Or is there another solution for this? Thanks for any help/ideas.Jay Quote Selected

Sagging rear Reply #2 – September 27, 2009, 10:00:14 PM Thanks Vinn, Do you think the SN-95 rears would level it using the front coils I now have? I'm sure I could get them locally from one of the stang guys I'm friends with. Or do you think I'm going to have to use the stock rears? Quote Selected
Sagging rear Reply #3 – September 29, 2009, 10:57:09 PM Hey Vinn, Thanks for letting me know about the SN-95 coil springs. The guy that owns the local Mustang forum I'm on also works at a Mustang parts store. You may have heard of it Laurel Mountain Mustang, well he has a project car he's working on and he's letting me have the springs from it. Another nice thing is Sharrie works close to his shop so she's able to pick them up for me. I think I'm going to finish the show season the way it sits now then in the spring start working on it again, I don't have a nice heated garage to work in or I'd be working on it during the winter. Thanks again! Quote Selected

Sagging rear Reply #6 – September 30, 2009, 02:54:48 AM you could go with CHE rear adjustables too if you wanted to use a stang spring. Quote Selected
