Vent Removal

Has anyone succesfully removed and replaced the right hand vent in the dash? I tried on a junkyard car once, and couldn't get it out. Is there some latch/catch/etc to release it?

The "left-right" movement on mine doesn't work, only the very center piece moves independent of the rest of the vent vanes.

Thanks!

I just carefully put a small flat screwdriver in one side and GENTLY pried and it popped right out.......GENTLY.
