Should be that red one with green stripe. Grey/yellow stripe would be power while in "Run" but not while cranking.

Like Thunder Chicken said use the R/LG wire. It is hot in both Start and Run.
It goes to the coil and went to the TFI ignition module.

Mine goes off when the key is in cranking pos. Pulled dash apart tested all wires on the switch none are hot at both postions. I have put the car on a major wire diet. Maybe I pulled somthing out I should't have.

BR/PK wire #262 from ignition swt. terminal 12 is hot in START.
R/LG wire #16 from ignition swt. terminal 11 is hot in RUN.

The two are spliced together at S296
C403 a brown connector with 3 terminals, C232 a brown connector
with 6 terminals and S296 are all located behind the left headlight.
