Inflation Calculator

What would your FOX body cost today?

Sticker price on my 1985 XR-7 was $16,390.00 so it came up with $32,376.12 in 2008.

Currently it goes to the year 2008. Entertaining none the less.

Oh yeah I been usin that thing forever!!! Love it! Someone showed me a window sticker for a well equipped 20th, but without the moonroof and illuminated entry like mine and it was about 19,300...this thing was almost a 37 grand car new!! :eek:
 
Really gave me a lot of perspective as to exactly what kind of car these were new. In a couple ways it sure seems like a rip-off :rollin: Sheesh...for that much money it shoulda DEFINITELY had an H.O. for one thing...

there is no such thing as inflation.  an ounce of gold buys the same amount of services today as it did a 100 years ago.  why do you think they wont let us have precious metal currency anymore?  inflation is a created effect, not natural

Well naturally...our system of currency has no intrinsic value.
