Wow

Hi everyone and I want to thank you all for your input, it has given me alot to go on as well a lot of work which I love to do to my Cougar. I have a persitent problem I have put all new parts into her by the way even a new ECM. Okay I'll being cruisin and then all of a sudden my whole electrical system; lights, stereo blink off, it is only a seconds time span but wow it is enough to get me worried. I have followed all my grounds they are good and I am at a stand still as to finding what would cause this to happen. Could it be my switch for my lights or maybe something in the electrical on the column? Because it seems to happen mostly when I have the lights on and get this one when I push the brakes or use the turn signal. I replaced the brake switch, I just don't know what is causing this.... HELP PLEASE This girl is at her wits end for sure now.  :rollin: Oh Yeah she is an 86, 3.8

Check your ignition switch at the steering column. Could possibly be at the headlight switch ( pigtail or switch), but I would start at the ignition switch.

its the blinker fluid sensor/relay for sure. check that first. the circuit may be corrupt.
