thats an $800 car with less then 100,000 miles. with 170,000 miles, that is a $500ish car. It dosen't have traction lock unless its got a towing package.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

We should probably keep location in mind. Obviously, pictures can make it look like a show car, but if it's as clean as it looks, here in Minnesota, that would be closer to a $1500 car. 87/88 Fox birds were rusty when they unloaded them off of the haulers in 87/88. If I was in the market for another one, I would pay a premium for a rust free car, regardless of the mileage.

I will follow that up by saying I am not looking for another Fox 87/88 bird, but if you can find me a shiny rust free example with a 5.0 here in town with less than 100K on it for $800, I would buy it in an instant.  For $1500, I'd have to do some serious thinking about it.  Good luck!!
