I think you need the dbl hump transmission bracket.
I don't think they put it in a 3.8

why dont you just do it yourself

because I have someone who knows what they are doing and knows how to weld who will do it for nothing. Even if I was to do it myself I would still like to see how it would look and exactly how I would need to run it.

a section of coolcats was written for you.

also, you could go with a y to 3" and not hurt anything. A real life h-pipe is not needed with the 3.8. You can just go with a single pipe each side.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I would just use the same stuff that the ones with the factory "duals" had. You really dont need true duals on the 3.8 so just tell him to order the parts for an 88 5.0 with the factory duals and install it as such. All you will need is everything after the cat.

Heres pic. Everything after the cat is what you need.

Here are some shots of my car as a single turbo but it gives you an ideal of how you can run the exhaust.

 Hope this helps.

I would get a double hump trans crossmember and run true duals
