RIP 1988 and 1990 Lincoln Mark VII LSC
I welcomed the dark side and currently am driving a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT plus, with a 5.9, Code named project "Night Runner"
Shes black on black, fully loaded, with headers, 180 tstat, e fan, straight exhaust into a cherry bomb vortex ler, full tune up, ported intake and T/B, MSD coil, and round aircleaner.
Mods to come: Fully rebuilt and heavily modded 46RE, and a richmond rachet locker.

Looking good. I made 227 RWHP with lightly ported (flowed 210 intake & 180 ex.) GT40 P-heads and ported stock lower intake & stock cam w/1.7's (decent exhaust). I gained nearly 1/2 second adding the Edelbrock Performer 5.0 intake to that setup. Your restriction is the heads. If you save up for AFR165's or Eddy's or TFS, you'll be up in the 270-290 RWHP range, so you know where your next expensive mod is at :D

I wanna run gt40 heads, ported gt40 intake, and a decent cam(no alphbet) on my mark. But thats dreaming, got other issues first. Would be a decent ammount of power though.

I'd LOVE to have aluminum heads, but for now,I'm happy enough.I'll start saving for the heads after Christmas.I think it's AFR heads that will work with the flat tops.As for now,it really doesn't matter.Paint is coming up in about 2 or 3 weeks.THAT is all I'm about right now.

Neg.

Trick Flow TW's....That is if you're talking about a 2.02 valve head and flat tops.  Even those wont work with too much duration on a cam...

The 165's will and the 185's likely won't. This assumes your flat-tops have eyebrows - since you're running the E-Cam with E7 heads, I assume this to be the case.

The 165 is more than enough for your combo. I run them & they're great heads.

Actually, most forged flat-tops have larger eyebrows for larger valves - what pistons are you running?

Edit: OK, after searching it appears that you may have forged flat-tops with no valve reliefs. Never mind.

They said a E-303 wouldn't work to.
But putting 165's on I wouldn't chance it.
