96 Cobra MAF on a 5.8.

I've got a 96 Cobra MAF sensor, and am wondering if It will work on. my new 351w.  I got it because I went with 24lbs injectors, a 75mm TB, and I'm using a 93 GT computer reprogrammed to Cobra specs.  I know the harness connector is different, and I have the right one.  I'm just not sure how to wire it up, if it will work, etc...

Any help?

After market MAF sensors are *calibrated* to a specific injector combo. The 96 Cobra MAF won't just "bolt up and work" because factory Ford meters aren't calibrated to any injector. The programing is taken care of in the computer. If you want to use the 96 Cobra sensor you need to get the whole set up tuned. You have to take the car and have it dyno tuned to run the 351W (the size of the engine needs to be changed in the computer look up tables) the 24s and the meter you want to use. The meter will work but the transfer curve has to be programed into the computer.
