Auto Lamp, interesting thing August 07, 2008, 02:03:50 AM Its raining now (2am) so i run out to close the 20th window i rememberd was open.I turn the key on,and roll up the window.Headlamps come on........ but recenly the rear view mirror mount glue busted so i have the harness disconnected and the mirror on the pass seat.I wonder what told the lights to come on with the lack of the photo diode. What told them to go off,, Ill have to look into this. Quote Selected

Auto Lamp, interesting thing Reply #3 – August 07, 2008, 09:32:31 AM Sensor on the mirror is the auto bright dimming sensor... Has nothing to do with the Auto Lamp on/off function... That sensor is inside the center of the dash(square cutout with slotted cover)... Quote Selected
