Sweet Find!!!! March 09, 2005, 11:53:46 PM I was at the salvage yard today getting interior parts for my 88 cat. I found an 87 that had just arrived that day (so naturally I had first dibs on it) I found some unique paperwork in the glove compartment...... It was an actual factory brochure all about the '87 Cougar!! Its a standard size booklet in mint condition - complete with pics and info all about the options the car has. Also, there was actually a full OWNERS MANUAL in there too, complete with a cougar embroidered case!!! In all my years of being a cougar nut - I've never come across any of that stuff!! Reply #1 – March 09, 2005, 11:58:51 PM cool. great find... i have a mint brochure, all the manuals with the embroidered wallet, warrentee for the original tires, original window sticker, radio stuff, card key (think its actually one from a lincoln cut for the tbirds key), vin proof plate, leyless entry cards....its realy neet to have all the stuff to go with your car. Reply #6 – March 19, 2005, 01:19:24 AM Is the brochure you're talking about the sales brochure that's about 11"x11", with "Ford Thunderbird" acros the top (for '87, at least) with a few pages of cars, and options, and a full listing of color choices and options at the end? They're really neat -- the ones for '87 are up on eBay all the time, and I recently picked one up for about $3. Quote Selected
