passenger side door window wont stay attached

my passenger side door window keeps falling out of the clips that are inside the door. i have epoxied it back in and it just came back out a couple days later. after that happened i took the door back apart, just hit the window where the clip things attach with real light grit sandpaper and used better epoxy. this time it lasted maybe a couple months and it just fell back out on me. has anybody else had this problem? if so can anybody give me advice to fix it? i would just go get a new used one from the junkyard but i dont think they have any thunderbirds that year in there.

I had that problem.I completely removed the adhesive that was on the windows and clips, got a little tube (stick type epoxy) of marine grade epoxy stick (it's white in color),pinched some off, kneaded it to the right consistancy, and it's worked for two years with no signs of coming loose. It's made to stick to just about anything and also be underwater.Nice stuff.I got it at wal-mart in the auto section.I believe Autozone had it as well.
