Is this the same guy selling the VAM listed as a supercharger that  Carm linked to?:hick:

Seriously, he's kidding, right?  I've never seen a non moonroof car where they DIDN'T meet in the middle.  Both Cougars I've owned had OEM mirrors that were exactly like Daminc's shown.  One set red one set grey...

5.0 HO 306 roller block, machined GT-40P heads, Wiseco dished forged pistons, Eagle forged floating I-beam connecting rods, Lunati pushrods, ARP bolts, Scorpion aluminum 1.6 rockers, Comp Cams Magnum 266HR, Explorer intake, 65mm TB, MAF Conversion, 19# injectors, Ford Racing stainless P-headers, 2-1/2" cat-less exhaust w/ Flowtech Afterburner lers , SC AOD with 2800 BDR torque converter, 3.73 T-Lok rear, CHE rear control arms, full 2-1/2" frame w/1" jacking rails & seat supports, Rear disk brakes, Turbine wheels, All original interior w/ floor shift upgrade .......
Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

X2... I seem to remember my hole in the roof cars used shorter visors with extra area between them for the dome lamps and motor mechanism...

That would be true, I stand corrected.

So for clarification, there were three types used for the 1987-'88 models.

  • Standard equipment non-illuminated with cloth mirror covers (long style)
  • Optional illuminated with plastic mirror covers (long style)
  • Illuminated with plastic mirror covers that were only used on Moonroof equipped cars (short style)
