stall and gearing?

what stall should i run in my mark vii lsc its going to get either a b303 or a crane 444225?i was thinking 3.73 and a 2500-3000 stall converter,the car has a 5.0ho,aod,8.8 with 3.27 and a open diff.yes the open diff will get replaced when i getthe money until i get a locker of some kind i will not put the gears in.

I'd probably go with the Crane...

At least the 3000 & 3.73s in something as heavy as the LSC...

You know you need mass air with those cams???

The Crane......and some heads that will make it realize it's potential at higher RPMS.

just found the 2031 for sale on dfwstangs and dont have the cash flow to get it:mad:.ive got some of the stuff to do my exhaust.im getting longtubes this weekend and the 3.73 gears but no locker yet.by the way im also getting the car this weekend.

ive been told 2800-3500 stall even with the stock cam.

And stock heads?  That's a bit much considering you're running HO stuff and they make peak torque @ around 3000 RPM....  More like 2200 ish for a basically stock HO
