Fusible Link

All I have to say is thank god for fusible links. And the TC saga continues. Driving the TC around since it was a beautiful day until I saw smoke and smelled an electrical fire.

You know those  IAC plugs, well mine came apart and shorted out on the lift eye on the block. Hence burned fusible link.

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, its off to work I go, to pay for the TC !

Oh yeah and the $65 for the tow home too (only 4 blocks away)!

Actually Rockauto had the pigtail, and the fusible link I got at a local auto store. It was actually one for a chrysler but it was the same gauge.

Pretty much every panel on my 87 is new, rebuilt, or re constructed. :D

I had an old pigtail that I cleaned up.  Did the same thing with the fusible link.  The chrysler ones are perfect for our applications.
