help with a hurst shifter...

I have already installed the hurst pro V-matic shifter in my car. I got 3 complete center consoles to use as a templet. Has anyone tried cutting the factory console to fit around this type of shifter???? I would be interested in any ideas on how to do it. Or please post a photo of yours so i may get some ideas of my own. thanks..

Be careful those 83-84 interior parts are hard to find. They console shifter bezel is rare 83-84 only. So take your time and double and triple check your mesurements be you cut.

Might even go with some other brand console that starts after the shifter. please lend me your thoughts, any and all ideas are welcome.

holcomb plate man. it drops the shifter down im using the same shifter in my stang. and i only had to cut the front part by the radio to clear the cable and ground for the shifter light.
trick flow street heat intake , 24lbs injetors, ported GT-40's (Chip) long tube headers. and a Performance Automatic C4, with a hurst shifter!
