Auto Lamp Feature Question... Reply #1 – September 30, 2007, 09:36:03 PM ok,, that was a sort of confussing question,, but use the search function and you will find AutoLamp diagrams ive posted. There are a ton of electrical diagrams if you hunt them down here.Im not really sure what you are doing, last week it was power seats, now its autolamp, not sure where or what you have. Just try to not blend your quesiton on different things into one question, makes it impossible to answer.you have to identify your wiring, match it up to the diagrams, insure you are fused properly ect ect.another thing,, does this thread have anything to do with your other threads? Your topic says autolamp but nothing in the body of the text mentions this. You dont have to start a new thread everytime, just continue on the one you started thats relevent to the same topic. Your questions seem to be about some sort of sensor (mouned near the rear view mirror just fyi) but your talking about "Mirrors (plural)" and running something down the side panel. Auto Lamp Feature Question... Reply #3 – September 30, 2007, 11:01:02 PM that sounds right to me,, other than a fuse. also,, now that i understand more,, did you get the dash mounted sensor ? The dash sensor is under the square knock out atop the dash. It detects when it becomes night and your lights come on auto. The sensor on the rear view mirror detects on coming lights and flips your headlamps to low beam.the s on the autolamp delay the time inwhich the lights go off when you exit the car to give you time to get in the house and a couple other things as well. Auto Lamp Feature Question... Reply #5 – October 01, 2007, 07:30:11 AM I believe the main headlamp switch is different as well. There are 2 different part #'s. One for autodim/autolamp and one without. Quote Selected
Auto Lamp Feature Question... Reply #6 – October 02, 2007, 03:48:48 PM Sounds like you might be missing the harnessthat goes from the switches, to the two relays (by your rightknee) and then up to the light sensor (found right behind the clock). Quote Selected
Auto Lamp Feature Question... Reply #7 – October 02, 2007, 03:51:54 PM are you sure there are two MAIN headlight switches? My non autolamp switch hadca place for the extra autolamp connection... But idk, maybe that's why my autolamp doesn't function yet... Quote Selected

They look the same too :S... I don't think there is a difference, but I could be wrong. This would be a good question for Eric or jcassity lol. Quote Selected
Auto Lamp Feature Question... Reply #9 – October 02, 2007, 06:00:47 PM I'm not 100%, but when I inquired about one at the parts store a while back he asked which one I needed. Rockauto also lists more than 1 as well on their website. Quote Selected
