Finally, Took Pics of my 87 Turbo Coupe

Well, it's not a Turbo Coupe anymore.  As you can see, the car has it's orignal paint and interior.  The enging is a built 302 (see sig), the instrument panel is Nordskog Digital Performance guages and the stereo is a Kenwood with a 600 watt amp (not shown).  I still have a little bit more work to do, some engine dress up and I want to repaint the car and re-do the enterior a different color and in leather.

The instrument panel is cool.  I comes with a lot of features, for instance.....The speedometer is self calibrating, you put it into program mode and drive a mile at any speed and it calibrates the speedo to where it is exact.  Also, the speedo will let you know your speed in a quarter mile, a push of the button, put it into program mode and run it, at the end push the button again and there is you speed in a quarter mile.

The rest of the guages also let you know what your highest and lowest temp was, highest and lowest oil pressure was and so on.  They are pretty cool.

I put them in due to the Tach was burnt out, the speedo was not correct past 55 and then it only went to 85, the temp guage was never correct and I got tired of the fuel guage bouncing up and down at a quarter tank.  I saw these on summit's site and bought them.

It wasn't hard at all, the gauges fit right in the holes (except you have to cut out the flaps in the oil, temp, volt and gas holes).  Other than that it was a breeze.  It took about 6 hours to do and you need to leave the plexiglass off other wise you won't be able to use the features on the gauges.

If you go with these same gauges, I would recommend using their temp sensor and oil sensor.  Stock sensors didn't give the proper readings.

That's for sure. The stock buttstuffog gauges are nearly worthless.

Nice Turbo Coupe!

Those are SWEET! You ordered them from Summit. Was it hard to modify, (esp for the fuel guage). Let me know. email thorpower1988@yahoo.com
