More progress:

It got new carpet, floor mats, rear 1/4 carpet, and the door panels and rear 1/4's sprayed with SEM white. That paint is amazing. The drivers side door panel is about shot, so i did the best i could to straighten it, and re-secure it to the door. The carpet needs more work, and i need to get the kickpanels and door sill panels back in, but thats all minor work.

As money comes, its getting a small sound system, seats, and everything else gone through.
It's Gumby's fault.

I thought I was a glutton for punishment with the black interior. And here you are going with white interior. It's coming along though. Nice work.

Are you going to get inserts for the seats or just gonna do all white?

Theyre going to be all white.

The 86 GT convertible was the ONLY mustang with this style interior, and this color combination. Thats really the only reason i care to keep it factoryish. Its not hard to keep up on the white, you just have to keep up on it, and think a little bit more when you go to do things.

My '82 GL 5.0 had the same combo...red carpet and dash (console-delete car)  with everything else white.  Of course I swapped out all the white for black as soon as I could find the parts :punchballs:.  Looking back, the white would have been nicer.

Keep crankin'

I should have specified that it was the first year for white leather.

I really like the white interior in these cars. Gives a very 80's feel.
