Check It Out Reply #5 – July 09, 2007, 09:36:21 AM Why do those body-supply people always pick on Thunderbirds? Bondo used to have a white 83-4 Turbo Coupe on its can of fiberglass resin (they now use a Suburban and a boat) and an MN12 on its cans of body fill, Motomaster (Canadian Tire) also had an MN12 on its cans of bodyfill, and I forget the name of the company, but somebody used to have a line-art drawing of an 87-88 Bird on their cans of "rubberized rocker guard".On a similar note, Canadian Tire also used to show a red Monogram TC model covered in fake snow in its remote starter advertisp00gets Quote Selected
Check It Out Reply #6 – July 09, 2007, 09:36:44 AM I have that same stuff; it's very old. Whatever you do...DON'T use that stuff on a car. It totally screwed up the clearcoat on part of my '84's trunklid. Had to use some heavy duty 3M stuff to get the marks out. It's almost like lacquer thinner, the way it burned the clearcoat.
