87-88 TC's make it into a magazine!

Go buy the May/June 2007 Issue of Ford Builder right now! Volume 3 #3 with a orange 87-93 Stang doing a wheelie on the cover.

And turn to page 32. :D:D:D

It's the "10 Fords for less then $10,000" article, and the TC is #6. A full page on how cool 87-88 TC's are and a full mention of NATO! Here's the exact text:

"To find out more about these cars, head to http://www.turbotbird.com, home of the North American Turbocoupe Organization."

There are 6 pictures, a large one featuring Nate's stunning black car (with Gary's chrome gleaming in the background), a small one of Joe's flamed "JR", an unknown white one, an 83-86 engine with red FMIC pipes and a backwards upper radiator hose, and two shots from Carlisle.

I've posted up pictures of the cover and the page of coverage.

I found THREE extra copies, as I know these are hard to find for some of you guys. I will gladly sell them to NATO members at cost ($5.99 cover price). I *might* be able to find more then that if you can't find one and want a copy.

Chuck,
Check out the last page of the Registry Thread to see just how much cooler ;)

Ford Builder is printed by Buckaroo (Super Rod, HCI, B Scene, about a dozen different Streed Rod magazines). It's in it's 3rd year and had Joe's TC and an 83-86 in it before.

It's hard to find in some areas, but we have them up here.

Just don't ever buy Super Rod, the editor of that one has the automotive knowledge of a bag of hammers.

Well, so do the people that write HCI (if you're referring to Hot Compacts & Imports).

My brother had an older copy of that, which I now possess, with a cover emblazoned "Turbo it yourself!" or something to that extent.

The actual article was helpful to the point of having pictures of silicone couplers and a caption that read, "Silicone couplers come in different colors," or a picture of a turbo that said "This is a big turbo for big boost!"

It sounded like a 2nd grader's report on miscellaneous turbo stuff they found on ebay.
