one more time just for shiznits and giggles February 01, 2005, 10:13:50 AM ok, sence the struts on 88's are longer than pre 87, how about a sn95 strut? and who was it that said sn95 springs are cool with us? and were ya talking about vert rear springs? some time this month ill be buying springs, and k member. then if i have enough ill get struts so ill be set for CJ. eather way tho, im in for those adj. lowers so if the rid height is a bit low i can correct it, but id still like to get it close. If you're going to lower it, you might as well use 87-93 struts. Really it's not as much of a big deal as most make it out to be.The SN-95 vert rear springs are a better match for these cars than the Fox springs. Quote Selected

The spring rates them selves are pretty similar, but the load ratings vary quite a bit. The load ratings of the SN-95 vert springs are still about 150# lighter per spring than the original Tbird/Cougar ones were (940# vs 775#). Some of the Fox stuff is even lighter..esp the C Kits....
