New exhaust March 27, 2008, 11:30:35 PM Old exhaust was this:Summit 2.5" mandrel bent off road H-pipe2.25 inch compression bent pipe aft of the H-pipe with 2.25" Flowtech Afterburner lers.New exhaust is:Summit 2.5" mandrel bent off road H-pipe (reused)Flowtech 2.5" mandrel bent intermediate pipes2.5" Flowtech Afterburner lers2.5" Dynomax mandrel bent tail pipes for a Mustang LXExhaust went together fine. The only place the pipes had to be extended was to get the tips to the bumper. No lengethening was needed to get from the H-pipe to the lers. Yes the 2.5" pipes aft of the H-pipe help a lot. The car feels more responsive and is quite loud now :hick: . I made a vid but the car does not sound as loud as it actually is thanks to my py digi cam. Maybe next time I'll borrow my parents nice digi cam. Oh and if you see smoke it's because I took the vid on a cold start when it was 38* out with rain today. It was 55* and sunny yesterday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hh9Mz7HRmDM Quote Selected

New exhaust Reply #3 – March 28, 2008, 07:43:41 PM That sounds good, but it's funny how tailpipes and the off road h-pipe change the sound because I have the same lers on mine but they dump under the car and it sounds nothing like that! Quote Selected

New exhaust Reply #5 – March 28, 2008, 11:29:28 PM Good deal. I gained a couple MPH changing from Dynomax Super Turbo to Magnaflow, then gained a few MPH changing from crunchy style 2 1/4" tails to mandrel bent 2 1/2" (like you did). Quote Selected

I swear that I gained ~5 hp from the tails and lers. The old ones were pretty small in some spots because of the compression bending. Quote Selected
